Please join Central Arizona College, Student Government & F.O.R. Maricopa on September 20th for the 1st annual Maricopa Oxfam Hunger Banquet. The hunger banquet is a charitable dinner in which, upon event entry, participants draw at random a ticket that determines their income level for the evening. The income level will determine the meal you will receive. Through meaningful interaction and thoughtful discussion you will experience the true meaning of poverty and what effect it has on children and young adults in the city of Maricopa. The event is free for all students and community members. Monetary donations and non-perishables are encouraged and will be collected at the event entrance. All monetary and non-perishable donations will be given to F.O.R. Maricopa in support of the local food bank. Your monetary donation is tax deductible and qualifies for a receipt. Learn how you can be a part of the bigger picture and experience hunger in a whole new way at the 2019 Maricopa Hunger Banquet. Seating is limited so reserve your tickets through Eventbrite today!
